Ensuring Fiscal Responsibility and Accountability for Select Oklahoma

Committee Description

The Finance Committee aims to provide financial oversight for Select Oklahoma, ensuring accountability, transparency, and fiscal health.

Duties of Committee Members

As a member of the Finance Committee, you’ll have the opportunity to: 

  • Oversee Financial Operations: Monitor Select Oklahoma’s financial condition, accountability, and viability, including reviewing internal audits, financial reports, and investments to ensure compliance with Board-determined parameters. 
  • Ensure Compliance and Reporting: Review and oversee the preparation of Form 990, 512E, and other tax-related documents, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to the Board. 
  • Develop and Monitor Budgets: Assist in creating, reviewing, and overseeing Select Oklahoma’s budget, ensuring alignment with financial policies and strategic goals. 
  • Evaluate Partnerships and Risks: Assess partnerships, joint ventures, and management arrangements for compliance with policies while reviewing risk-related matters such as insurance, document retention, and legal or IRS issues. 
  • Implement Policies and Plans: Uphold Select Oklahoma’s financial policies, including the Crisis Management Plan and Whistleblower Policy, while addressing additional duties as assigned by the Board.

Meeting Times

The Finance Committee meets as needed via Zoom to review financial reports, discuss audits, and address ongoing fiscal matters.
