MEMBERSHIP MEETING RECAP — STATE OF SELECT OKLAHOMA & 2025 STRATEGIC PLAN
December 10, 2024
The landscape of economic development is evolving, and Select Oklahoma’s December Membership Meeting explored how the organization is positioning Oklahoma to thrive in this dynamic environment. Led by Alysia Cook of Opportunity Strategies LLC, attendees gained insights into key initiatives, including the development of legislative advocacy training, the creation of an Oklahoma Economic Development Certification in collaboration with IEDC, and the launch of an annual policy agenda, “Legislative One Voice,” to unify pro-business priorities. The discussion also highlighted plans to expand stakeholder education, foster peer-to-peer networking, and build stronger statewide partnerships to enhance Oklahoma’s economic development ecosystem. Attendees celebrated the accomplishments of the outgoing Chair, expressed gratitude to departing board members for their dedicated service, and welcomed new board members and a new Chair to guide the organization into the future.
