MEMBERSHIP MEETING RECAP ”” STATE OF SELECT OKLAHOMA 2025

Select Oklahoma closed out the year with its December Membership Meeting, featuring the annual “State of Select Oklahoma” address from 2025 Chair Meggie Froman-Knight. Meggie reflected on the organization’s momentum over the past year and the role of members in strengthening Oklahoma’s economic development network. She emphasized that the state is at a defining moment””one with undeniable potential but not guaranteed outcomes””requiring continued collaboration, leadership, and commitment from practitioners across the state. 

Meggie also highlighted several strategic priorities guiding Select Oklahoma’s work, including delivering impactful professional development, strengthening the voice of economic development in state policy, establishing a sustainable organizational framework, and building strong partnerships across communities. These priorities reinforce Select Oklahoma’s role as a connector for economic development professionals working to position Oklahoma more competitively for growth and investment.

Members also heard from incoming 2026 Chair Andrea Anderson of the Ardmore Development Authority, who thanked Meggie for her leadership and shared her enthusiasm for the year ahead. Andrea emphasized the importance of continued alignment across the state’s economic development ecosystem, encouraging members to lean in, collaborate, and remain steady in their efforts to advance Oklahoma’s communities and industries.
